Electric Handbrake
To Disengage The Handbrake
The ignition must be switched on.
Press and hold down the “OFF” button (C in Fig1) after a few seconds the LED will change to green, when this happens the handbrake is disengaged. The green LED will only be illuminated when the “OFF” button is pressed and the LED must be in this state whilst the vehicle is in motion. Please Note the LED will not be on continually when driving.
To Engage The Handbrake
The ignition must be switched on.
Press and hold down the “ON” button (A in Fig 1) after a few seconds the LED (B in Fig 1) will illuminate as amber, at this point the handbrake will just start to bite. If you continue to hold the “ON” button the handbrake will fully engage and the LED will then change to RED. When the ignition is turned Off the LED will go out.
